About Me

I have a masters degree in somatic (whole person, mind-body) psychology, and I love sharing methods that encourage real change. In addition to my graduate studies and licensure as a massage therapist, I completed four-year and two-year trainings, respectively, in Rosen Method Bodywork and The Hakomi Method of Experiential Psychotherapy, and had the rare privilege of learning those methods from Marion Rosen, who developed Rosen Method, and Ron Kurtz, who developed Hakomi.

I know how it feels to endure long periods of high stress and the effects of debilitating dis-ease. I was an attorney for 25 years and suffered from several chronic physical and emotional conditions throughout my life. I tried many remedies but experienced only temporary relief. All of my complaints resolved after I started receiving Rosen Method work as a client.

My clients include highly successful people who simply crave more joy and fulfillment in their lives and relationships, and those managing the effects of chronic or life-long tension, stress, anxiety, depression, chronic or progressive disease, low self-confidence or self-esteem, trauma, assault, abuse, life transitions, grief and loss, healthy aging, and intimacy and relationship challenges. My work is person-centered and honors each client and their unique experiences, needs, and pacing.

I am a life partner of 40 years and the father of two thriving adults.
